Catherine Schwarz was raised bilingual (Filipino, English) by an American-Vietnam war veteran and a Filipina businesswoman.

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Mass Communication (Cum laude) from Centro Escolar University in Manila and a Master of Business Administration major in International Marketing (Summa cum laude) from the European University of Munich. She is a certified TEFL - TESOL English instructor and holds an advanced certification for teaching young learners.

She has over 12 years of relevant work experience as an international marketing and business development professional, including work stints in the Asia-Pacific region, the United States, Australia, Canada and United Kingdom.

Married to a natural-born German, she is mother to school-aged bilingual twins and has been living in Germany for over 10 years. She is the founder of TCTM Consulting and LEGS, and is currently an adjunct professor (English) for Design Thinking and Business Model Innovation at the EUBS in Munich.
